Advocacy, Ambassadors, and Action

Charter school advocacy comes in many forms and this breakout session will cover several creative ways to make an impact at both the state and local level. Are you looking for a inspired method to use when engaging in charter advocacy? Are you wishing there was a way to align student advocacy to your current curriculum? Would you like to get your parent community more involved in advocating for your school?

Join CSDC Governance and Policy Specialist Caitlin O’Halloran and Lewis Center for Educational Research President/CEO's Lisa Lamb as they share detailed information on how you can:

- Invite legislators to tour your school
- Create a student ambassador program to make an impact at the local, state, and federal levels, and
