James J. McGrath, J.D., M.A., is a financial attorney with a focus on the Employee Retention Credit, having helped about 400 schools claim over $200M. Mr. McGrath is also the Founding Director of IVA High, which equips students to think well: critically, creatively, and with a capacity for self-growth. His education background includes work as a high school teacher, charter school board officer, and college faculty member. He earned his undergraduate degree from U.C. Berkeley, a Master’s in Philosophy of Education at U.C. Irvine, and a J.D. from UCLA School of Law.James J.
