Health and Safety

Code of Conduct

The CSDC Conference Code of Conduct establishes expectations of staff and attendees as well as procedures to follow when expectations aren’t met.

COVID Monitoring

Your health and safety are important to us. CSDC will closely monitor COVID-related expert guidance and local officials and will develop health and safety protocols as needed. Participants will be kept up-to-date on any necessary safety measures prior to the event or onsite if a situation develops. To protect everyone’s health, please do not travel or attend the event if you are feeling ill or having symptoms of any kind.

Participants may choose to mask at any time and those with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should always wear a high-quality mask or respirator when indoors in public, especially at high traffic events like a conference. Masks are available to event participants at the Registration Desk in the West Lobby.

Current COVID guidelines can be found through the CA Dept of Public Health.

Lactation Room

The SAFE Credit Union Convention Center has a designated, secure, and private Lactation Room on the second level near Hallway A, available to participants. To learn more, please go to the registration counters in the West Lobby and ask for instructions and access to the lactation room.

Emergency Action Plan

The SAFE Credit Union Convention Center strives to create a safe and secure environment for everyone’s enjoyment. The following guidelines are strongly recommended in order to support our collective efforts in ensuring smooth and successful event activities.

In addition to the security provided by conference planners, the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center has a 24-hour general building security augmented with both cameras and alarm systems. Cameras scan interior and exterior public areas and house security staff can be dispatched quickly to investigate situations as necessary. On-site security can be reached at (279) 203-6068 or (916) 808-5740.

The SAFE Credit Union Convention Center has an ongoing program of emergency response training for all key personnel including management, official suppliers, security and staff. Emergency preparedness plans are updated regularly and drills are conducted annually. Should there be an emergency; the facility’s Chain of Command, starting with On-Site Security will lead the implementation of the plans and procedures.

Lost and Found

If you have lost or found an item, please stop by the Registration Desk in the West Lobby on the first level. Items not claimed during the event will be taken to the CSDC office. Please contact CSDC with questions or to inquire about a lost item.

Security

In order to access conference sessions and events, participants must be wearing a conference badge and lanyard in a manner that is clearly visible to security, event staff, and/or volunteers.
