Charter schools face numerous liability risks, including facility safety issues, sexual harassment and bullying, problematic contract terms, cyber liability, employee claims, field trips, and transportation. However, there are a variety of protective steps charter schools can take to minimize these liability risks. This session will review the most common risk management issues for charter schools, as well as provide attendees with useful tools to minimize liability.
